When installing this on MacOSx 10.13.5 it gives me two errors. The first is a dialog box from OSx stating that the file needs to be updated. The second is the following from the terminal...

`$ /Applications/LICEcap.app/Contents/MacOS/licecap ; exit;

/BuildRoot/Library/Caches/com.apple.xbs/Sources/AppleFSCompression/AppleFSCompression-96.60.1/Common/ChunkCompression.cpp:49: Error: unsupported compressor 8

/BuildRoot/Library/Caches/com.apple.xbs/Sources/AppleFSCompression/AppleFSCompression-96.60.1/Libraries/CompressData/CompressData.c:353: Error: Unknown compression scheme encountered for file

'/System/Library/CoreServices/CoreTypes.bundle/Contents/Resources/Exceptions.plist' /BuildRoot/Library/Caches/com.apple.xbs/Sources/AppleFSCompression/AppleFSCompression-96.60.1/Common/ChunkCompression.cpp:49: Error: unsupported compressor 8

Any news about this issue?

trevoz commented 5 years ago

Since High Sierra and the introduction of the APFS framework, fewer compression methods are supported for 32 bit apps compared with 64 bit apps. 32 bit apps are going away altogether supposedly in 10.15.

My old Mac do not get an updates anymore. So, I can't do anything with it?
