Update 'stable' branch #153

The docs use the stable branch, and it doesn't include certain features, which the latest version already provides (in my case the 'environment' plugin).

Thank you for bringing this up, Felix. I have pushed all the commits from master up until f5994a9 (April 11, 2018), which should coincide with the v1.0.6 release, to the stable branch.
