We need to start encrypting passwords as we are growing, and don't want our users to be vulnerable to a possible attack. In addition to encrypting existing users' passwords, we need to implement a function that will encrypt passwords on sign up.

@jeffw16, once I get the method working for new users, I'll send you the details to work on the db.
