Receiving 404 errors on https://api.twitch.tv/kraken/streams #676

We were experiencing 404 errors when calling the twitch kraken api from around 4:45PM PST to around 5:15PM. Not noticing any service disruptions on twitchstatus.com though. Could there be a possibility that we were rate limited? I'm not seeing any reference to this in the documentation.
