• combat potions: for fighting things
  • thrown at enemies
  • basic instant damage on hit
  • instant splash damage
  • damage over time
  • other special effect depending on enemy/potion combination
  • drank by player
  • health potion
  • buffs - run speed, base damage, defense
  • special effects depending on enemy
• utility potions
  • for providing special effects around town - run speed, charisma potion that influences buy/sell prices/npc interactions, invisibility potion for sneaking, tons of options once we know more what actions the player will be doing around town
• quest potions
  • used in specific scenarios to complete tasks or unlock NPCs/areas
