The player stoped if the screen turns off. #15

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Starting a book.
2. Waiting a fiew seconds and the screen turns off.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Nothing, the player stop the playback.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Version: 1.0.6
OS: Android 2.1 Update 1

Please provide any additional information below.

The effect can be forced by locking the screen manualy.

Thank you for reporting this issue. I will investigate it and see what I can do 
to fix it in the next few weeks (as we may need to restructure the application 
so it can continue playing when the screen turns off).

In case you are not aware, one option is to reconfigure the phone so it stays 
awake when power is connected. This setting is available in 
Settings->Development->Stay awake. (I don't know the equivalent menus in German 
at the moment, sorry). I realize this is not a fix, but perhaps it will help 
slightly :)

More info:
The behavior seems to depend on the model of Android device used. For example, 
the HTC Hero seems to happily play the book indefinitely even with application 
in the background; and with the screen off; and with the screen-lock shown. 
I'll need to investigate what state the application is in on the various 
devices.

While it's still no where near perfect, the player does continue for a while. 
I'm going to continue working on enhancements in future releases.
