Question: Why are your newest releases not in the marketplace? #14

Hey man.

first let me thank you for bringing open source to the RocketChat market place :)

I am fairly new to it myself and do not know exactly how the process of uploading new releases to there is. Maybe you can tell me how that works.

I also noticed that the last released version over there is 1.0.2 from February 2023. The newest release here is the 1.0.7 from September 2023. Is there a reason why all the new version (and those in between) have not been published to the Marketplace?

thank you :)

The version update depends on the approval of the Rocket.chat team, which is why rocketchat usually has an older version than the official version.

Hey @func0der , @lucasplcorrea is correct, actually I had uploaded version 1.0.8 to Rocket.chat marketplace about 2 months ago to get approval but there is no activity from the team :joy:

I think you can upload it as custom app to use the newest version with a lot of bug fixes.

@juzser When will you release version 1.0.8 here on github?

juzser commented 6 months ago

@lucasplcorrea There is nothing different between 1.0.7 and 1.0.8. In 1.0.8, I only update the command name by feedbacks from RC team to get approval, but there is no response from them.
