There are a lot of unrelated changes here.

I don't have a problem with the diagram updates.
I don't want to change the default viewer to Sublime3 or to turn off the check-on-startup.
I don't have a problem with generating more predictable file names, but numbering them like this isn't enough. I'd like to use something based on title, like #43.

The rest of the changes I might accept but I'd need them in separate commits.

Sorry. I can't merge this as-is and I'll really need this broken up into separate bits for the different clean-ups and features.
