my usb webcam (logitech quickcam chat) and my professional firewire cam
(AVT guppy) do not work and i could not find enough info about
"cvCaptureFromCAM(...)" to make it work ...

Hey I just found out a way to make work a Guppy Firewire camera with OpenCV... 
well
actually I used unicap to make it work... I captured the frame with unicap and
displayed with OpenCV and it worked :D
