I couldn't reproduce your problem with the same QGIS version. However, I see that in my case gdal_polygonize saves a temporary vector layer as .gpkg and in your case as .xtf. Can you check what happens if you change the default output vector layer extension from xtf to gpkg? You can do this by clicking the option icon (tool) in the Processing Toolbox panel and then expand the General section. In my case it is also xtf, but doesn't affect my results for some reason.

Everytime i run the script it throws the same error. Don't know how to resolve it, please help.
