6 years ago 78fdaec is part of a refactoring of how certifications/endorsements work. The category defines whether solo certifications can be issued for positions in this category.
Designated airspace (major) flag still exists on the position itself. These two need to be referenced together to determine whether a solo certification can be issued. Most of these issues will be addressed in #51
