using this sketch with a mx1508 motor driver board #56

has anybody used this ps3 throttle and steering sketch with a mx1508 board? im having trouble adapting this sketch to get the speed control to work without an enable bit. i keep hitting dead ends on the web. can anyone help? MX1508-DC-Motor-Driver-with-Microcontroller ive found this example on the web but im still lacking and learning knowledge on how to make this work with this sketch?
