problem opening new Fx windows when the web console is open

winxp or win7, Fx 13-15, new profile, httpfox 0.8.10

1. start Fx
2. open error console (show errors only)
3. open web console
3. open new Fx window

The window is visually messed up (differently on different oses).  On xp, it 
has two stacked title bars one and the lower one contains the Fx menu button.

The following errors are logged in the error console (multiple times):

In a new profile, despite the errors and visual problems, the window seems to 
navigable, but on a different profile with other extensions , it's not.

So there might be additional extension interaction issues, however the initial 
problem is caused by httpfox.
