To the dev team: Interested by an EPROM simulator? #42

Hi, I am working on a NeoGeo ROM emulator that allows to both inject code and communicate in both directions between the 68000 and a computer connected via USB. It is a simple PCB with the same dimensions as an EPROM, that plugs in place of the NeoGeo system ROM. I have some working prototypes and I could send you one if you thing it could speed up the development process on your side (I think it really could). I have made some tests and I can currently assemble the diag ROM and transfer it to an MVS slots in a second. You can find a demo here (in french, sorry!): Video Let me konw if you are interested. Thats a cool project.

I don't do much development on the diag bios unless someone asks for a feature or finds a bug. If you still want to send one I will give it a try.

I think you work under Linux and I still have a bug to sort out with the mass storage feature under Linux. As soon as I have a working board, I will send you one.
