Hi, I'm happy to merge this, but please remove the generated stack.yaml
file, thanks!
Ok, so I guess a stack file won't be of any use to anybody then, would it?
And what about maintaining this and the pipes-files package in Hackage? I'm happy to step up as a maintainer, but I don't know what do you think about it.
I know that a stack file means nothing to me, only to stack users.
I'd be happy for you to take over maintenance of these two packages. Sending you an invite to become a collaborator now.
Thanks John. I've accepted the invitations.
I'm gonna take care that hierarchy
and pipes-files
end up in Stackage. They recommend that the stackage maintainer is the same as the package author, but if not at least the maintainer should notify the package author. So I guess you don't have any objections.
Do you want me to merge the pull request after removing the stack.yaml
file, or do you want me to leave it for stack
users? As I stack user I'd prefer the latter, but it's your call of course.
If you're willing to maintain these packages, then I will leave that decision up to you. Whatever makes things easier or more enjoyable for you!
Perfect. I think a stack file will make sense. Then I'll take the liberty of merging this PR as soon as I have a working travis build. Thanks for the trust.
Add a
stack.yaml
file. Remove compiler warnings. Also I would like to volunteer to maintain this package on stackage.
