To ensure the profile loads swiftly, condensing the GIF files may be a good means to help.

Furthermore, apply some CSS trickery.

Have still imgs when the card is blurred
When the user hovers/clicks on the card, hide the img and replace it with a GIF.

This has been added. However I'll need to use some JS to pause the GIF's in the background and play when hovered on.
