See https://developer.cloud.daikineurope.com/docs/b0dffcaa-7b51-428a-bdff-a7c8a64195c0/getting_started for temporary global credentials for anyone who can't create an application at this moment using the Daikin portal
I was able to configure the add-on with the temporary credentials but I don't see any devices in home assistant.
It's the same account, the add-on is loaded and happy.
The only entity I can see is for updates. I already restarted home assistant.
Is this normal with these credentials?

In the past we had global credentials for everyone, that worked at that moment without real problems. Did you use the same login method and email address?
I use SSO with Google on both dev cloud and onecta mobile app.
Try to restart HA, check the HA logs and check the integration diagnostics. When you still see no devices in HA but you do see them in the onecta app contact Daikin to get their assistance
There was a box to tick at the beggining. It works now.
No devices are being added. All I can see is Daikin Onecta update in entities

Make sure you use the same email address and login method, if that is the case, please open a new issue with the logs, integration diagnostics, and any information

I had the same issue because I didn't tick the box at the beggining asking if I allow them to have control over my devices.
A case of two different accounts - fixed it by creating a new account with old email address at Daikin and after being kicked out the mobile app and logging back in I can see more entities :-)
I was looking at ESP32 but then heard that this invalidates the warranty if I fit that so may have to live with this for now.
Hi! It seems that Daikin is close to delivering a fix for the issue: “The issue has been identified and a fix is being implemented”.
Question: Is there an easy way to replace the temporary API key/secret or is the solution rather the deletion and new setup of the integration?
Thx for advice!
Regards, Martin
still same issue
unable to create DCR from HTTP. HTTP ERROR:AxiosError: Request failed with status code 503

Not sure, so far I know when Daikin revokes the temporary credentials you will get a reauthorize option in HA, but I haven't tested that myself, my home setup works and I don't want to break it
Daikin has deployed a fix, please retry to create an application on the Daikin portal
I can confirm it now works
Created the app. Added it back into home assistant entered the keys, now no devices or entities showing

@UK-JustinSmall Check the HA logs whether there are errors. Strange that it worked with the temporary credentials, maybe you added by accident somewhere a space?

I got it, school boy error, Thanks again :-)
I have created credentials on the Daikin developer portal but after entering them in Home assistant, I was forwarded to a Daikin webpage saying that something went wrong. I have now deleted the app in the developer portal and created new credentials. However, now, when I try to add a new integration in Home Assistant, I don't even get the pop-up asking me for the credentials. I directly get redirected to the Daikin webpage "Something went wrong". Reinstalling the repository doesn't help either, the pop-up that asks for the credentials doesn't appear anymore. When I try to add the integration in another browser, there appears the following pop-up message: "Already_in_progress" Can somebody help me with this problem please? Thank you very much!
You probably have some old credentials, see readme how to remove them and after you removed them restart HA

Thank you very much for the fast reply, that helped!

I also was able to create the APP on the Daikin page, and obtained the credentials. Then when adding the integration in HA got the web page with the message "something went wrong'. I deleted the onecta app in HACS, deleted the old credentials and tried several times without any luck. I exposed the issue to Daikin support but they haven't give any help on this. I getting frustrated as I paid good money for something that was working fine before the OEM started to temper and making things overcomplicated without any necessity! So if someone has some suggestion I truly appreciate it. Noite: O the logs I could not find any entries related with ONECTA. At least I don't see any specific entry with Daikin or ONECTA labeled. Thanks in advance for the attention and sorry for the steam blow about Daikin, but why are really getting in to my nerves!
For the already in progress error restart HA, try a different browser, search the closed issues for more ideas
