@jwjacobson good work on the OR search, maybe you can spec out the feature a bit more here please?

simple search in navbar search field
dedicated search page with more fields / dropdowns
search field syntax e.g. title: / site: / etc (for command line geeks like myself lol) - https://developers.google.com/issue-tracker/concepts/search-query-language

As I think about it more I'm leaning towards search field syntax as the alternative is multiple search bars like you get in jstor or library advanced searches, which is ugly and unwieldy. Since the big feature is going to be searching by multiple fields at once

Will close this for now as basic search can be considered more or less implemented, then create a new advanced search issue
