@jxyden14 see below email from the Promise Foundation coordinator. Maybe we can discuss on Friday but have a think whether you'd like to talk to Vicky...

We are very fortunate to have enlisted the help of Vicky Udall, who has offered her services free to Promise Foundation mentees. Vicky is an educational consultant, specialising in further education. She an expert at the university application process and in particular how opportunities can be maximised. As an example, she knows exactly where all the free bursaries are for each course type, and where a student should apply to for opportunities, especially if they are the first of their family to go on to further education.

She can help in various ways:

For first year A level students - she can help with the whole application process, where to apply to, what bursaries are available, etc, etc

For second year A Level students - help with prepping for results day, prepping for different exam results, navigating the clearing system.

For GCSE students - helping plan for the future, planning for applications, subjects, grades, future bursaries, etc.

Hi @jxyden14, I've heard back from Vicky and she is suggesting this Thursday at 6pm. Could you let me know asap if you can make that time and I'll set up the call! Thanks

Good evening Sir, hope you have enjoyed your trip to Dorset.

Thank you for arranging the call with the Promise Foundation Counselor but unfortunately, I cannot attend because I will be revising for my last exam for the mocks on Friday (ironically it's Computer Science). Any other time during the half term should work though :)

Hi @jxyden14, I did suggest that evening to Vicky but she didn't reply and now I know she is on holiday for 10 days. Don't worry we'll get this organised at some point - there's no rush.
