3 years ago Thank you, the problems you reported in this issue should have been resolved as of 20b665cc7d7c5f5a9ad23e29d47fef17b407ca82. Some of the items have been fixed in previous commits. Here are a few things to note:
102.0.18.7.11 稃 should be handled in the way of other extra characters.
This is a bit tricky, as I've decided not to add the character with no attached pronunciation. But since it is marked with a tone I am keeping it.
104.0.03.0.11 福 is printed as "福" better to add variants to "兼容字頭".
福 (U+FA1B) is a CJK Compatibility Ideograph character and should only be used for round-trip compatibility with legacy encodings. I will try my best to avoid using these codepoints.
162.0.06.0.11 鑒|鑑 is printed as "𨰹" better to add variants to "兼容字頭"
The glyph in the image looks like ⿰金𥃆, which is different from the character you have provided (the bottom-right component in 𨰹 is 金).
Page175 臼 with pronunciation "kau" is missing in the list.
Actually, the excerpt you attached comes from the "Additions and Corrections" section in P.718, and that "(175)" refers to the syllable index. In the dictionary, syllable 175 corresponds to the aspired form "K'au" (Kau is syllable 174). Also, the given pronunciation (kau + tone 5) translates to [gau5] in Jyutping, and this makes no sense in reading Cantonese. I think it's pretty safe to say that the book is using a wrong notation here.
