Hello pat - i think i've solved the MapKnitter login issue -- i'll look around but do you have a screencap of the geocoding bug?
Can you attach one of the GC jpegs too, so I can test that? Thanks!!!

Yesterday and this morning I had knitter save my maps as anonymous rather than my username. Also, complained initially about address not being specific enough. See the EWB regional workshop San Diego ca and ditto vis in progress maps. Also, got error in attempting to upload JPEG cropped in Graphic Convertor.

Thanks! Copying into the github issue: https://github.com/jywarren/mapknitter/issues/150
I was also able to re-assign your map - was it just one map?

grab etc file is screenshot of attempt to start new infrablue map with the street address. It appears to find it (blue text appears below the text entry box), but gives the error message.
I didn't keep trying today, but did to when I was able to create the two maps started for the EWB regional workshop San Diego ca and "ditto " vi.
I confirmed the error is still there with attached image file which had been cropped with Graphic Convertor.
Here text copied from error window in prior attempt to upload image cropped in Graphic Convertor: https://gist.github.com/jywarren/7031008
Hey Pat - what location text did you input to get that error?
Jeff,
I used 1936 Quivira Way San Diego, CA 92109
As I noted, last time I tried, it took it.

I'm narrowing the scope of this issue to address Graphic Converter only, as I believe we've solved the other issues.
Hi Pat, can you check if this happens on mapknitter.org now? We use a different image processor. Not the Mapknitter 2 beta, just the current production server. If it does, could you copy the error you see and relevant info to https://github.com/publiclab/mapknitter/issues please? Thanks.
Thanks Jeff,
I checked a different map in current mapknitter with a Graphic Convertor cropped image in Firefox and the upload worked fine. See: http://mapknitter.org/maps/livermore-ca-test-with-pl-mobius-infragram-point-and-shoot-on-parrot-ar-drone-2-0
and attached screenshot.
