Place pages overhaul

This project will create pages that are more dynamic than the current pages including the integration of events for each site, meet-up groups, forums, etc.

• Place pages- not so much a wiki, but an aggregator/dashboard type of site
• more calendar
• ways to express interest
• local meet-ups
• mailing lists (can currently be solved through wiki editing)
• needs wireframes

Maybe a feature which either lists people who have posted their location near a given place page, or a way to auto-subscribe people to updates tagged with places near them?

Here i tried breaking it up by tabs, where you can also switch between tabs with arrow keys or swiping on a tablet. "events" could just be a tag for research notes. Key is that a place page has an "intro" page which is just a wiki, but if you are a regular visitor looking for updates, you can just look at research notes. The active tab could persist so when you come back to the page, it shows the tab you were on before.
