add weekly mailing list digests as automated research notes #164

tagged "mailing-list".

This could enable cross-language digests too; we could put a Google Translate button on these to auto-translate.

We'd have to mark each post with "Posting on the mailing list does not necessarily constitute open sourcing content" or something. But then future mailing list conversations would be searchable on the website...

mixed feelings about this "feature" -- input appreciated

I like it. this sounds like a good way to integrate the list without making a flood of research notes.

Well, keeping a copy of the data that is not on Google important in itself. A weekly digest as a research note on the website seems like a logical place to put it. Make a tool called Public Labs Google Group? :)
