Huh -- that's no good. there are so many pages which aren't well listed -- i never really looked at the /revisions page, but you're right -- let me check on the logic that drives it, and also double check the logic driving the Contributors box, which I wrote myself. It'd be useful to try a "manual count" for some tool with not too many wiki page edits. We def. want to get this right, but wiki edits are a bit confusing to track in the database.
So the SQL logic for the Contributors box seems OK, but we need to do a manual count. For example, Chris F has 36 "entries" as a balloon mapping contributor, but only 24 research notes (which is a miscount; there are really only 9; i think this may count old versions too? dunno. Or comments? hard to say, drupal is a bit obscurely structured.

But according to that count, he'd have 12 wiki page edits, which sounds low, but maybe not all his wiki pages are tagged as "balloon-mapping". Manual counting in the history pages is the only way we can confirm this.
Two things which would be nice anyways and could help figure this out are:
the recent wiki edits page gets it wrong, but each page's revisions page gets it right. noticed it today with the bamboo/tyvek kite workshop page.
this also explains why staff have so many edits/notes to their names on the contributors bar and non-staff users appear underrepresented.
