"follow" feature #3

Then people should be able to 'follow' each other or 'follow' sites - so they see any new updates from those things on their dashboard. I don't know how to attack this problem... maybe there's a pre-built module since Drupal has been used to create social networks before: http://drupal.org/project/dsnf_install, http://groups.drupal.org/node/22566
