Saving plot (picture) - Githubissues

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a curve plot with the standard tools
2. Try to save the plot writing only the name, without the type (.png, .pdf).

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect the program save the picture as a "default" option (.png).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

2.1.5
