I suspect this is because you were leaving the keywords field blank as opposed to putting a * into it?
I don't think thats it. I was entering keywords as well as a provider but still got zero courses. I've tried again and put a * in the keywords field just in case, but I still get the same response.
I've tried on Firefox and Chrome (just in case it was browser related) but I get the same behaviour on both.
I think it might be because the provider code isn't being "quoted" when the HTML query string is created. If I manually add %22 to the start/end of the provider code in the URL and refresh that it seems to work.
Hope that helps.
I believe this was a similar problem to the filtering issue. This should be fixed in the next release.
Hi,
I entered "Computer Information Systems" in the keyword field and clicked on search. This returned 2 courses, both for University of Lincoln. I then left the keyword as Computer Information systems, picked "University of Lincoln" from the provider pick list and clicked on search again. I was expecting it to return the same 2 courses as before but it returned 0 matches.
I've repeated this with various options and whatever I do, as soon as I pick a provider the matches always seems to drop to zero.
I'm new to using the Course Discovery Service so would appreciate any advice on what's going on/wrong would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks, Ed.
