CPU usage #62

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. CPU usage seems a bit high

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Lower CPU usage would be nice... It's around 35% or so on my low-power Intel 
Atom dual-core CPU.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.9.1, Ubuntu 10.04

Please provide any additional information below.
yield_timeslice() or something in the idle loop perhaps? :)
