Users are clamoring for a Dark theme.

Why was this closed as completed? I couldn't find this option in BlueJ, so I don't think it was implemented. Why not close it as "not planned"?

I think this was a mis-click at the time. Dark mode is requested periodically but the problem is the amount of work: we'd have to restyle the whole interface as a task and test both modes every time we touch the GUI. Some users on the web have experimented with custom CSS to do this (which is fine by us), but the efforts are often not very comprehensive (e.g. they only touch the editor colours) presumably because it's a chunk of work.

Why not include some dark CSS just for the most important windows like the main interface and editor?
