Is there any intention to increase Markdown extended support for LaTeX math formulas?

Even github does not officially support this feature. But if possible, I think this will improve the readability of some file of .md.

Markdown renders as HTML, LaTeX compiles to pdf. I don't think we could just create a latex typesetter just for a GitHub app, let alone that nobody is going to use that in their readme. How is that going to look in the web interface?
