Most semi-decent editors have the option to use a mono-space font. My current favorite is NMM Text Editor as it has code folding and is very customizable. A more basic option is ViperEdit which is a continuation of Turbo Editor, an abandoned app. If you don't mind ads or are willing to pay Quick Edit may be good enough, but it's now abandoned in favor of their new app "Code Editor" (which isn't worth linking as it's currently a worse version of Quick Edit) and has some minor issues like how Markdown Preview does not parse/render tables properly. Neither of the other editors has markdown preview, but FastHub does.

For fasthubs editor, consider using a monospace typeface so that code indentation alignment can be seen clearly.
I just edited some yaml and had to count the number of spaces on each line as I entered to ensure valid yaml.
