who makes a thread that they don't need help with. this is a pc app also its not as easy as just saying "add support"
@Retro7Development I think you've mistaken. I'm the author of this project and I intend to bring make it available for macOS, but I lack the resource and experience for mac. I'm just creating an issue here to track the support for macOS.
@k4yt3x lets connect. Mac user and stumbled upon this as part of my video editing needs so would love to expand support.
@mrc0der Sure. You can post here to add to the discussion or reach me on Telegram.
Really? I guess it depends on where you first coded it. I just thought that some of the libraries you used wouldn't be compatible.

I can also offer my support for coding and testing on MacOS, specifically Apple Silicon.
@HunterAP23 Awesome. The goal I think would be to get this repo to build on Apple silicon machines. I.e., add whatever that's need like MoltenVK to make Vulkan and everything build properly. You can refer to the build commands in the GitHub Actions pipelines and in the Makefile/PKGBUILD to see how it's built on other architectures to get started.
Also m3 max here. Also available to help if needed. Not so experienced, but avaiable ;)
It will be great if we could get Video2X to work for macOS, but I personally don't have a macOS environment to play with, and I don't know much about macOS. Therefore, I'm opening this thread for anyone that's interested in trying to get Video2X to compile for macOS and discuss the issues around running this software on mac.
