Hi,

This PR seems to be huge (+69,160 −25) but there is no clear description that

what the PR changes
why the PR changes is required to the community (not just 'I need this!')

In addition, such huge PR is hard to accept because it is hard to review. Please bring it to a discussion upstream and we'll discuss a proposal first.
