Maintain Status #83

First, I just want to thanks the maintainer of this project. Second, I want to ask about the current status of this project. Is it still maintained? I have some suggestions and want to make some PRs. But if it's no longer maintained, I might need to make a new packed in pip myself, or becoming the maintainer myself. Thank you.

If no one answered to such a simple question for almost two months, I believe that this project is abandoned.

Thanks for your concern. For full disclosure, I started a new job in January and have had to put my open source projects on the back burner temporarily (bug fixes only). I don't expect this situation to be permanent, but I'd be willing to give write access to another maintainer if desired.

Expect for pending pull requests and issues to be taken care of by the week of March 15th.
