A major part of what we do involves figuring Cost of Goods Sold. When a garment is created, a price is associated with that garment. When a new job is created, we assign a price per garment. We track cost of goods sold as a percentage, and we strive for between 48% and 52% on the year. The report in the dashboard would be simply the cost of all of the garments within a job, divided by the amount we are charging per job. But all of the jobs combined into a single percentage.

complete/closed , but requirements had changed since issue created (from Ben) :

"2. Cost of Goods Sold Percentage. The "Cost" in the product description(Cost of the t-shirt) times the number of shirts divided by the grand total. ((ShirtCost X GarmentCount)/GrandTotal). But for all of the jobs. (Total ShirtCost / Total "Grand Total") = Cogs for the month."

garment cost (already coded in GUS) is different than cost of goods, so need to use pure cost instead.
