Invalid content in the selected files #2

After setting up the repository using the credentials provided, when I select a video (I tried 'What is JavaScript in 2 minutes.mp4' and 'JavaScript Tutorial for Beginners Learn JavaScript Basics in 2 minutes - JavaScript Output.mp4') to be used in my course, it appears as an .mp4 file. But it is not possible to play the video and its actual contents is just 83 bytes of text

Just in case it helps - the above has been experienced when I was using the repository plugin on its own. When I used it via the kpoint activity module, it seemed to work.
