I found the script that you mentioned in #95 (in #57) and it confirmed my guess that there was "custom" symbols from the script author there that don't seem to exist in standard Typst, which was causing the issue. Thankfully, the script puts them all in the same place, so it's fairly easy to fix. (Though partial seems to be supported in Typst now.)
