Team#1 Scrum Report for May 23, 2020

What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)? What were any major issues/challenges you ran into? What do you plan to work on for this coming iteration (2 weeks)? Total: ~5 sentences max!

What I worked on:

  1. Broke up sprint into tasks, created issues for everyone, created project_2 branch
  2. Created components for login and registration

Issues: None

Next 2 weeks:

  1. Add login and registration to Home page
  2. Look into validation for registration
  3. Look into Vet adding attachment of certificate when they register
  4. Create user dashboards for PetOwner and Vet

What I worked on:

  1. Created the initial project commit with redux and some baseline styling.
  2. Built the appointments page with a calendar to view appointments.
  3. Mocked some initial json objects to serve as data templates.

Issues: None

Next Two Weeks:

  1. Add Material UI to the project and remove dependencies that are no longer needed.
  2. Develop a first complete draft of the user dashboard.

Worked on the maps to help a user find a vet. I ran into trouble making the markers show up and connecting the map to real time data because I forgot I would need a rest call for that instead of just a url like iframe allows. Set up the maps with restful API calls to get real data and make the vet data into cards that will link to registered vet profiles.

-Built site map using flowmapp, built wireframes using balsamiq -Searched and selected react-native-calendars for booking components

What were any major issues/challenges you ran into? -Learning curve of building a booking system

What do you plan to work on for this coming iteration (2 weeks)? -Build vet sign-in, and profile page -Make progress on implementing booking system for vet & customers
