ledvance smart+ motion sensor not updating #43

Hi,

I managed to pair my zigbee devices with the zigbee2mqtt add-on. But after a while some of them lost connection. I tried reboot and repairing but this fails for some devices, like e.g. the smart+ motion sensor from ledvance.

When trying to repair it somehow shows up in the list of new devices and the log file says something about messages received, like e.g. 2021-10-10 14:01:18.792 INFO : zigbee2mqtt-adapter: 2021-10-10 14:01:24.472 INFO : zigbee2mqtt-adapter: ola running stdout: Zigbee2MQTT:debug 2021-10-10 14:01:24: Received Zigbee message from '0x000d6f000bb28c6f', type 'commandQueryNextImageRequest', cluster 'genOta', data '{"fieldControl":0,"fileVersion":503337744,"imageType":48,"manufacturerCode":4174}' from endpoint 1 with groupID null 2021-10-10 14:01:24.473 INFO : zigbee2mqtt-adapter: 2021-10-10 14:01:24.477 INFO : zigbee2mqtt-adapter: ola running stdout: Zigbee2MQTT:debug 2021-10-10 14:01:24: Device '0x000d6f000bb28c6f' requested OTA

but in the things page the sensor shows all the time the same message. link quality 0 temperature 22 degrees and occupancy Bewegung

which seems to be the entries after connection was lost. any ideas how to solve this? It seems from the log file that zigbee2mqtt can in fact communicate with the device...

similarly for a sonoff temperature and humidity sensor which does not repair. Reboot, factory reset etc. did not work. However it shows up in the thing discovery page and when re-added it shows the same values as from before it got lost.

Several attempts of repairing did not work. When removing the device and trying to repair, it will not show up in the list of new devices anymore. After reboot of the gateway it does but then simply shows the old values...

Repairing should only be used if all else fails.

I finally gave up on this and returned the sensor to the vendor. The xiaomi counter part works fine.

I don't see it in the list of supported devices either: https://www.digiblur.com/p/zigbee-compatible-devices-zigbee2mqtt.html
