I can confirm this exact behaviour. Only getting a pre-roll ad then get
dropped back into the menus. Hope it can be fixed! (please) :)

Me again...Possible Temporary Fix Here!
I was just playing around a bit and (for me at least) turning on "Network
Pre-Roll" in the streaming section of the add-on settings gets the Hulu Plugin
working correctly again. Turn it off, no show plays after the ads, turn
pre-roll on, the show plays. Haven't been using it enough yet to make sure the
streaming continues...

I tried the same settings, but it didn't work for me. I changed the pre-roll
ads to 0, and this time, there was just welcome screen and it returned back to
episode list without playing any video.

I think I've narrowed it down, and here's what works for me:
1) Turn on "Network Pre-roll" with at least 1 "Pre-Roll Ad"
2) Any setting with "Pre-Roll Ads" set to "2"
Any other settings fail to play the video.
I hope I've clarified enough to be helpful...Sorry to hear it if this doesn't
work for you; hopefully someone that knows what they're doing will be able to
fix things soon...

I'm seeing this issue. I tried changing ad settings and no luck. However, if I
wait awhile and then check the Hulu "Now Playing" list (long press 'menu'
button at top Hulu menu level) it shows the stream I opened (4 instances)
spaced out with "AD 1", "AD 2", etc.
Selecting one of the non-AD streams will play properly.

Well to me, it actually worked only for one show. I'm still facing the issue
with other shows.
