Fails to play audio from podcasts directory, but will play from music directory #328

I have an audio file located in /storage/sdcard0/documents/podcasts/. When I select it in my file manager app, and choose to open it using Phonograph, the Phonograph app opens, but it does not play the audio file. It does not give any error message, or any indication that it even tried to open the audio file.

When I copy the audio file to /storage/sdcard0/documents/music/, then perform the same action, Phonograph begins playing the audio file with no issues.

The default "Music" app which came with my device is able to play the audio file from either location.

I am not sure if this is a bug, but I would very much like this feature. I am looking to unify my music player. Currently I have to use one for podcasts and one for albums. If I could just get Phonograph to pick up files from ~/Podcasts, that would be a great work-around.
