Is the SensRNet network stable enough on its own? What cause might there be in the future to compromise its data? In what ways might there be an issue on the trust of the data in the chain?
Currently the SensRNet blockchain network is an 'permissionless distributed ledger'. It is set up as an open network to connect to and to read the data. This is because it is only open data which is shared within the network (see key concepts). Nonetheless in theory it might be possible that a bug or network failure will corrupt the chain. This depends on the stability of the MultiChain technology which is the brand of DLT used by SensRNet.
Other networks which are more or less similar to the SensRNet network apply additional measures to secure integrity and stability of the data and the chain of hashes. The X-Road for example distributes a daily hash throughout the world to all (or at least many) embassy's of Estonia. Many blockchains cross-reference to other blockchains by committing a daily hash to other major and open blockchains.
Thus could be the solution or custom of the SensRNet network as well. Just as a precaution and extra measure to secure the integrity of the network and all its data. A daily hash of the chain onto (at least) one major and open blockchain. BitCoin might the most obvious choice here for several reasons:
Since its inception the BitCoin network does have a single roll back or malfunction (like Ethereum did have)
The MultiChain DLT is a fork of the BitCoin protocol and therefore the interoperability of both technologies should be no issue, even with future releases (although mixing blockchains is becoming more and more the norm)
