Please pay attention to "ssl rules" document which indicates such important
points;
-Dribbling devices that actively exert backspin on the ball, which keep the
ball in contact with the
robot are permitted under certain conditions. The spin exerted on the ball
must be perpendicular
to the plane of the field. Vertical or partially vertical dribbling bars,
also known as side dribblers,
are not permitted. The use of dribbling devices is also restricted as per
Law 12, Indirect Free Kicks.
-In law 12,though it is not related to the design but dribbling behavior,
"An indirect free kick is also awarded to the opposing team if a robot
dribbles the ball over a distance greater than 500 mm"
