Project look cool.

How easy is to build my own prototype ? There is somewhere a tutorial for that ?

kadirilkimen commented 3 years ago

Hi, Thanks. It requires some basic skills; 1 - You should be able to use basic tools. 2 - You must have basic electrical knowledge.

Then, if you have all the printed parts and all the required items in the BOM list, it should take about 1 hour to assemble.

I'm still improving the mechanical design at the moment. Therefore, I have not shared a BOM list and a tutorial.

When I'm done with the design, I'll post a few videos, including an assembly tutorial, along with the new STLs and BOM list.

Thx when you say basic electrical knowledge. I guess making arduino stuff or home electricity is enough ?

I will share your project around me (some hacker space & community ) Maybe you can create a list of people/organisation using your product and ready to product/ship by country.

Having some arduino knowledge would make it very easy. It requires some wiring and you may or may not need soldering, depends on how you get required wires. Also power supply may or may not require some A.C. wiring. It depends on what kind of power supply you will use.

If you familiar with arduino and if you can work safely with A.C. you can build the machine easily. If you buy a ready to use wired power supply, then you don't need to deal with A.C. and some arduino or similiar wiring knowledge is enough.

You are welcome to use/share my digital media and the project by respecting the conditions below;

I am thinking to develop a portal like website for the project. Where people can share their polarbear experience and ask questions etc.

Thanks alot!
