I have tried installing both ionic2-auto-complete and ionic3-auto-complete however, neither of them have worked. Here's my package.json:

When I install ionic3-auto-complete, the only files that exist are CHANGELOG.md, LICENSE, package.json and README.md making it unusable.

When I install ionic2-auto-complete, I am unsure on how to pass the data. I am using a JSON API that is returning data based on a result. For example, when a user starts typing in the input field, the search is triggered and a JSON result is returned which should be parsed and displayed in the options list.

Any help is appreciated

I know the name is not clear but checkout ionic4-auto-complete for a compatable and currently maintained version.
