Serial number less than 12 digits CS3 vs 10.6.3 #250

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What netbook are you using this on?

Dell mini 10v

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I see a F7QT0M1 which is shorter than the expect 12 digit serial macs use.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

This issue is between Adobe CS3 and mac os 10.6.3

Please provide any additional information below.

Adobe and Apple have a bug there both blaming each other for, its effecting all 
macs and non 
macs running osx that have short serial numbers less than 12 which stops CS3 
from loading. this 
might cause problems with other apps aswell. Not sure if you can add a enter 
custom serial 
option or create a random 12 digit one? which follows apples conventions?

Sorry not sure if this is a valid issue but I dont know how to fix it myself.
