Sound is scratchy when AC cable is unplugged on ASUS EEE 900HA #287

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. when I un-plug the AC cable, the sound becomes scratchy at once and it
remains scratchy even if I plug the cable in again.
2. Sound is working well only if I boot up ASUS with the cable plugged (to make
it more clear, sound is crappy on battery mode)

What netbook are you using this on?
ASUS 900HA (for sound I use Audieee.app, but also tried Voodoo.HDA.kext which
ended up the same result)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Unplugging the AC cable should not have any effect on the quality of sound.
IMPORTANT: Yesterday (just for curiosity) I boot up with "recovery=y", and this
issue disappeared, sound was just perfect on battery mode as well!!
Conclusion: I think, this must be some unnecessary kext, that is not loading in
when "recovery=y" and should be removed.
My question is which kext?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
OS 10.6.3 (same issue occured on v. 10.6.0)

Please provide any additional information below.

Thanks for any help!
