What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.MacOS 10.6.0 DVD
2.Run 0.8.5Pre to prepare a boot flash drive
3.Install with the flash drive (on Dell 1012)
4.Boot with recovery=y
5.Run 0.8.5Pre again to the boot volume
6.Reboot -> Always need recovery=y to boot into MacOS

What netbook are you using this on?
DELL 1012 BIOS A04 (downgraded fro A07)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect only boot the first time with recovery=y to run 0.8.5Pre or not even
need the first run since 0.8.5Pre prepared the installation already (maybe I'm
wrong in the expectation?)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
10.6.0 retail DVD

Please provide any additional information below.
I can work around with manually replace AppleIntelCPUPowerManagment.kext with
NullCPUPowerManagement.kext
Hope it can be fixed or integrated for other to use.

What happens when you don't boot with recovery=y?

Do you get a panic? If so, please post what the panic is (boot with -v first)

If not, let me know what happens.

To install the os, you steps should be

1.Run 0.8.5Pre to prepare a boot flash drive
2.Install with the flash drive (on Dell 1012)
3. Reboot (w/o flash drive preferably)

Is there any reason for the alternate steps that you used?
