Settings and databases overwritten with old data upon sync #94

Series of events:

Suddenly my Morphman settings and databases on my desktop jumped back to where they were a few days ago. I eventually realized it must have occurred when I synced Ankidroid, which I hadn't synced for ~2 days. I believe the outdated data on Ankidroid was somehow designated as the most current, and the data on my desktop was overwritten. As far as I can tell, only Morphman data was affected. Notes, cards, review data, etc synced as they should have.

It is confusing that the databases could have possibly been affected, since they don't sync with Ankiweb as far as I can tell.

Some questions this brings up: (forgive my ignorance)

  1. Is Morphman even designed to sync with Ankiweb? Is any plugin able to sync with Ankiweb? As far as I can tell, Morphman's settings definitely seem to sync, but I'm not sure the databases are. None of my other plugins sync with Ankiweb, as far as I am aware.

  2. Should I be concerned that review data etc. could be overwritten with old data upon sync? Or is this issue probably confined to Morphman?

Additional info:

Thanks :) -Tyler

Morphman doesn't sync with Ankiweb, there isn't a way to sync morphman data with Ankiweb, but that shouldn't matter, because what matters is that your collection syncs over, meaning you can simply recalc to update your dbs. So I'm not sure that you're running into a Morphman issue.
