I have many movies and subtitles, I would be very interested in scripting-up alass and get a feedback on what it thinks about the current synchronisation of each file/sub pair.
So long story short, could a diagnostic only mode, call it dry-run, call it alanyze-only... be added to alass? Not mcuh detail is needed in output really (unless you want) I would just be interested to know: "this is in sync" Vs "this appears to be not" or something...
